Rückblick On International Tour

by | Jun 10, 2019 | News

Last year, pianist Ann DuHamel [D.M.A.] commissioned a new work for solo piano. This year, she’s taking the piece on the road. “Rückblick” explores themes of transformation and nostalgia, taking inspiration from the piano works of Brahms.

Having earlier this year performed the work at various venues in the United States [as well as Thailand and Malaysia], DuHamel will spend the summer performing “Rückblick” in recitals and lectures at Trinity College [Oxford, England], the 2nd Academic Conference on Music [Montecassiano, Italy], the World Piano Conference [Novi Sad, Serbia], and the College Music Society Conference [Ghent, Belgium].

More information about these upcoming performances can be found on the Events page.
